Job Summary
Mobile Anesthesiologist needed to support a Pediatric Dentist during in-office surgery days. Provide high-level anesthesia care for pediatric patients, including IV deep sedation and general anesthesia, in a dental practice setting. Work alongside Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation through skilled anesthesia administration and airway management, adapting to various clinical environments. Focus on patients requiring more than local anesthesia, including children with dental anxiety or disabilities. Requires completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency and current licensure in good standing, with certifications such as PALS, BLS, and DEA. Part-time, independent contractor opportunities available with flexible scheduling. Must collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, compassionate care and positive patient experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency
- Licensure and Certifications: Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing
- Required certifications include PALS, BLS, DEA
- Professional Experience: Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia
- Collaborative Approach: Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
