Job Summary
Mobile Anesthesiologist to provide anesthesia care for pediatric patients during in-office surgery days alongside a Pediatric Dentist. Responsibilities include anesthesia delivery tailored to a dental practice, airway management, and collaboration with dental teams to optimize patient cooperation. Focus on patients requiring more than local anesthesia, including children with dental anxiety and those with specific physical or cognitive disabilities. Requires completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency, and current licensure with PALS, BLS, DEA certifications. Flexible work options include part-time and independent contractor arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency
- Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing
- Required certifications include PALS, BLS, DEA, etc.
- Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia
- Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
