Job Summary
Anesthesiologist role within the Army Reserve health care team requiring life-saving patient care and specialized skills in surgical settings. Work includes contributing to a multidisciplinary team, supporting humanitarian missions, and engaging in leadership training with a competitive benefits package. Opportunities to continue community practice while serving as needed and travel for rotations or missions. Key duties center on anesthesia care, patient management in surgical environments, and collaboration with other professionals to deliver high-quality medical services to Soldiers.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
- Must have completed at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an anesthesiology residency
- Between 21 and 42 years of age
- U.S. citizenship
- Permanent U.S. residency
