Job Summary
Provide specialized anesthesiology services within dental practices, adapting to different clinical environments alongside a Pediatric Dentist. Deliver high-level anesthesia care for children and young adults, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia, while managing airway and optimizing patient cooperation. Focus on complex cases involving dental anxiety, physical or cognitive disabilities, and patients requiring more than local anesthesia. Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional dental care experiences. This role supports the mission of delivering quality, affordable dental care to underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency
- Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing
- PALS certification
- BLS certification
- DEA certification
- Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia
- Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
