Job Summary
Anesthesiologist position available at Christiana Care, Union Hospital, responsible for directing and coordinating Anesthesia Department activities. Key responsibilities include medical management of patients during surgery, pre-anesthesia assessments, obtaining patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks, inducing and monitoring anesthesia, and providing clinical interventions as necessary. Ideal candidates must hold an M.D./D.O. degree, complete an anesthesia residency, be licensed as a physician, and possess ECFMC and FLEX certifications.
