Job Summary
Anesthesiologist needed at CHI St. Luke's Health - Memorial Hospital in Lufkin, TX. This 1099 contract role offers $600K annually with a schedule of 12 days on, 9 days off. Case mix includes general surgery, orthopedic, Endo/GI, urology, ENT (some pediatric), spine, ophthalmology and OB/GYN. Care Team model consists of 3 MDs and 8 CRNAs with general supervision by veteran CRNAs. Back-up call to CRNAs with rotating call every other day when on duty. Malpractice and tail coverage provided. Hospital is a 167-bed Level 4 Trauma Center. Qualifications: board certified or board eligible; regional anesthesia preferred (training available); comfortable overseeing CRNAs.
