Job Summary
Provide high-level anesthesia care during in-office surgery days for pediatric patients, including those with dental anxiety, cognitive disabilities, or specific physical needs. Collaborate closely with Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management within a mobile dental practice environment. Deliver intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia while maintaining a collaborative approach with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. This role supports Benevis's mission to deliver quality, affordable dental care to underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency
- Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing
- PALS certification
- BLS certification
- DEA certification
- Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia
- Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
