Job Summary
Provide specialized anesthesiology services within dental practices during office-based surgery days, adapting to various clinical environments alongside a Pediatric Dentist. Manage airway and administer intravenous deep sedation or general anesthesia for pediatric patients, including those with dental anxiety, cognitive disabilities, or specific physical needs. Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient cooperation and ensure exceptional dental care experiences. This role requires an accredited Anesthesiology Residency, current valid license, and PALS/BLS/DEA certifications. Available for part-time or independent contractor positions with flexible schedules. Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency
- Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing
- PALS certification
- BLS certification
- DEA certification
- Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia
- Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
