Job Summary
Oversee daily anesthesia services operations in the perioperative setting, supervise anesthesia technicians and technologists, ensure turnover and room readiness, coordinate training and competencies, rotate students from educational facilities, and drive process improvements. Establish and maintain performance improvement and quality control activities; manage staffing, disciplinary actions, and collaboration with leadership to support patient safety and regulatory compliance in the Operating Room and anesthesia areas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited Anesthesia Technologists Program
- 5 years experience as an Anesthesia Technologist in a perioperative area
- 1 year supervisory/lead experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to lead and/or work as part of a team
- Knowledge of computer systems and software used in the anesthesia/operating room setting
- Knowledge of federal/state regulations and Joint Commission standards
