Job Summary
Prepare, maintain, and troubleshoot anesthesia machines and related equipment to ensure proper function. Stock and organize anesthesia medications, supplies, and OR carts while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and monitoring expiration dates. Assist with operating room turnover between cases and support Anesthesiologists and CRNAs by anticipating case needs and responding promptly during procedures. Order, receive, and organize anesthesia supplies while performing end-of-day equipment shutdown and securing work areas. Communicate effectively with the surgical team to support smooth daily operations and participate in ongoing education, compliance training, and staff meetings. Full-time position in Raleigh with BLS certification required; CST preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technician program
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- High school diploma or GED
- At least two years of operating room or healthcare experience involving anesthesia equipment or similar medical equipment
- Current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
