Anesthesia Technician I

Anesthesia Technician I assists licensed anesthesia providers in preparing and maintaining patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems, and in acquiring, preparing, assembling, and applying the equipment needed for anesthesia. Under limited supervision, the technician supports attending anesthesiologists, residents, and CRNAs in anesthetic procedures for patients ranging from young adult to geriatrics, contributing to technical and supportive patient-care tasks in a 40-hour-per-week hospital setting at the Medical University of South Carolina.
