Job Summary
Support the anesthesia team by assisting with anesthetic procedures, cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization of supplies and equipment. Perform and document equipment maintenance, manage par levels of anesthesia equipment and intravenous solutions, and handle pharmaceuticals including rotating supplies and removing expired medications. Assist team members by safely distributing anesthesia equipment and supplies under supervision. Requires one year of healthcare experience, familiarity with sterile technique, and ASATT certification preferred. Schedule is 6am-2:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience working in a healthcare environment
- Must possess the ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with anesthesia equipment care and/or sterilization technique
- ASATT certification for Anesthesia Technician
- Related work experience
