Job Summary
Assist in patient procedures by formulating tailored anesthetic plans, managing appointments, and maintaining medical records. Perform intravenous catheter placement, endotracheal intubation, and equipment maintenance while monitoring anesthesia and troubleshooting complications. Apply knowledge of physiology and pharmacology to manage high-risk patients and ensure accurate documentation. Continuously expand skills in arterial line placement, epidurals, and critical case management. Work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for additional hours. Required Qualifications
- Prior veterinary experience
- Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- State Registered Veterinary Technician license preferred
