Job Summary
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) offers patient-centered anesthesia care in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include implementing accurate, safe anesthetic care, monitoring vital signs with capnography and pulse oximetry per ASA guidelines, ensuring compliant documentation and safeguarding information, maintaining professional and ethical standards, and engaging in ongoing professional competency projects. The role requires ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move between anesthesia locations. Required Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Completion of Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program
- Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs
- State of CT RN and APRN License
- AANA Certification (CRNA)
- ACLS
- DEA Registration and CT Controlled Substance Registration
