Job Summary
Provide safe, high-quality, and patient-centered anesthesia services as an integral member of the anesthesia care team under medical direction. Deliver care across surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures while operating and interpreting data from a wide variety of equipment to support perioperative safety. Collaborate with various clinical staff using effective verbal and written communication skills to facilitate timely OR function and implement facility policies. Maintain confidential records and demonstrate knowledge of infection prevention and control techniques. Work flexible 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts within Piedmont Medical Care Corporation.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Graduation from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (or its predecessor)
- Master's degree in Anesthesia from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program
- Current Georgia CRNA license (or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure)
- Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Current Georgia Anesthesiologist Assistant license (or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure)
- Certification by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Requirements
- Must be eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure if not currently licensed
