Job Summary
Andrologist/Endocrine Laboratory Technician at Pinnacle Fertility in Seattle provides endocrine testing and semen analysis to support fertility treatment plans. Responsibilities include performing hormone assays (FSH, LH, prolactin, estradiol, testosterone), operating and maintaining laboratory equipment such as the Toso machine, collecting and analyzing blood samples, conducting comprehensive semen analysis (count, motility, morphology, viability) and preparing samples for procedures like insemination and cryopreservation. The role adheres to SOPs and regulatory standards (OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA), supports embryologists, educates patients on specimen collection, stays current with technologies in endocrinology and semen analysis, participates in QC/QA/QI and clinical research, and collaborates with the clinical team to ensure treatment plan adherence. Requires a BS in Biology, Chemistry, or related field with a minimum average in relevant coursework; new graduates welcome; 1–2 years of lab experience is a plus; strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills; compensation ranges $25.00-$30.00 hourly (final offers based on experience), with benefits including health/dental/life/vision insurance, generous PTO, holidays, and retirement savings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field
- Minimum of a "B" average in relevant laboratory science courses
- 1–2 years of laboratory experience is a plus; new graduates encouraged to apply
- Proficiency with compound microscopes and aseptic techniques
- Completion of on-the-job training and any required certification exams
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain patient confidentiality
