Job Summary
Android SDK Engineer (Mid/Senior) to develop, optimize, and lead evolution of the Android HyBid SDK, with focus on multi-threaded execution, low memory footprint, backward compatibility, and crash-free integration into diverse host apps. Responsibilities include collaborating with product and business stakeholders, ensuring cross-platform parity with iOS, contributing to code quality through reviews and documentation, and implementing integration layers for Google's Android Privacy Sandbox (Topics API) and user-consent data pipelines (GDPR/TCF 2.x). Also responsible for embedded telemetry, mediation/adapters (AppLovin MAX), and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and release workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional Android development
- 6+ years of Android software engineering (Senior level)
- Strong competency in Kotlin and Java
- Experience with library/SKD development for third-party consumption
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
- Familiarity with Android memory profiling and performance optimization
- Experience collaborating with product teams and cross-platform parity with iOS (Swift/Obj-C)
- Understanding of GDPR/TCF 2.x privacy requirements and data pipelines
- Experience with debugging, crash logging, and telemetry
- Experience with mediation adapters (AppLovin MAX) and Open Measurement (IAB OM SDK)
