Android Framework Architect – Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

Android Framework Architect responsible for designing optimal platform architecture for customer Android-based solutions, including an Android-based e-Cockpit. Collaborates with the Platform architecture team to evaluate and drive solutions for customer products, addressing diverse Android-level topics across the platform. Requires hands-on experience with Android framework, Linux kernel and Android stack, hypervisor-based multi-VM solutions, Android native services or Linux user space, and strong C/C++. Fluent English and ability to work across time zones (notably US East Coast). Open to a flexible hybrid work model and travel considerations as needed. Responsibilities include engaging with internal stakeholders and the architect team to defend architectural decisions, plus understanding subsystems such as Audio, Camera, Display, and other Android subsystems, to deliver reliable, scalable automotive-grade software solutions.
