Job Summary
Contribute to the development effort for Coveron devices by interacting with backend REST APIs, providing feedback based on mobile needs, and collaborating with web, backend, and low-level teams to build new features and enhance existing ones. Coordinate with Product Owners and QA/Support to ensure Android apps maintain high quality standards, while debugging and resolving issues reported by users and internal testing teams. Stay current with cutting-edge tools, patterns, and methodologies to ensure excellent code quality within a large Kotlin-based development team.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3+ years of Android development
- Fluent with Kotlin
- Fluent with MVVM Clean architecture
- Fluent with Room or SQLite databases
- Fluent with reactive programming libraries
- Knowledge of the latest trends and libraries in the Android ecosystem such as Jetpack Compose, Hilt
- Experience with debugging tools and solving problems reported by users
- Experience in writing unit and UI tests
- Excellent knowledge of Android APIs and SDK
- Experience working with large codebases
Desired Qualifications
- Networking knowledge - OSI Stack
- Previous experience in developing VPN solutions
- Experience with the Android TV ecosystem
- Experience with the agile methodology
