Job Summary
Android Developer role at Priceline with a hybrid work model (2 days in-office in Toronto). You will design, develop, and maintain mobile Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android SDK (versions 5.0+), collaborate with Product Managers and UI/UX specialists, implement RESTful APIs, and contribute to testing, analytics, and A/B experiments in an Agile team. The role involves building fast, reliable, scalable mobile experiences for millions of customers, with opportunities to explore cross-platform development for iOS if needed. Salary range CAD 100k-120k, with benefits and hybrid/work-from-home options; bachelor’s degree in CS or related field and at least 3 years of Android development experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years related Android development experience
- Strong coding skills in Kotlin and Android SDK (version 5.0 and up)
- Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
- Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks (Hilt or Dagger)
- Understanding of the Gradle build system and dependency management
- Open to cross-platform development with iOS
