Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain Android apps written in Java and Android Studio. Communicate with the product team to design new features and provide updates on development progress. Develop new features to help scale the product while leveraging deep knowledge of memory management, SDK integration, and API connections within a cross-functional team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in developing native apps in a production setting using both Kotlin and Java
- Understanding of memory management as it pertains to runtime on a mobile device
- Understanding of /and ideally experience developing Android SDK for integration into 3rd party apps
- Understanding of API integration within an Android mobile app
- Understanding of Android material design concepts
- Experience with transitions and animations
- Android development with both Kotlin and Java
- Organization and multitasking skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
