Job Summary
Build complex Android applications from scratch, connecting mobile interfaces with backend APIs and handling electronic logging devices, accident prevention cameras, and fleet management routing tools. Lead the full product lifecycle including testing, development, and R&D with complete ownership of state-of-art transportation industry products. Collaborate with a team of six remote engineers to define, design, and ship new features while scaling applications and maintaining strict attention to detail. Work autonomously within a full-time remote schedule from 2PM to 11PM IST to support US-based management.
Required Qualifications
- Junior Android developer
- Strong technical skills from university
- At least one year of Android development experience
- Hungry to learn
- Ability to work autonomously
- Very strong eye for detail
- Strong ability to personally test products
- Complete ownership of the entire product
- In charge of testing, development, and R&D
- Building complex applications in Android from scratch
- Connecting Android applications with APIs
- Working with back-end developers to develop APIs
- Able to work with design documentation
- Experience with scaling applications
- 1-6 years of experience working with products published to the Play Store
- Graduate degree from an accredited university with a Computer Science background
- Ability to work with a team of remote developers to define, design, and ship new features and applications
- Proven track record supporting or working with a team on complex features and applications
- Experience with source code version control such as Git
