Android CNO Software Engineer

Job Summary
Design and deploy custom CNO capabilities for the Android platform, developing, testing, and debugging in C, C++, Python, and Android NDK environments. Conduct exploit development, vulnerability research, and PoC creation while reverse engineering native binaries and Android system components. Debug at kernel and user-space layers using gdb, LLDB, JNI, V8, and Mojo to trace execution and isolate issues. Produce documentation for operational use and sustainment while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with mission operators. Requires Active TS/SCI with Polygraph, Bachelor's degree, and experience with C, C++, Python, and Android NDK.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced development in C, C++, Python, and Android NDK
- Exploit development and memory corruption techniques
- Kernel-level debugging (gdb) and internals knowledge
- UNIX/Linux internals and system-level engineering
- Network socket programming and protocol analysis
- Reverse engineering tools including IDA Pro, Ghidra, gdb, LLDB, and Frida
- Security protections (ASLR, DEP/NX, sandboxing) and bypass techniques
- Experience with Git/Bitbucket
Desired Qualifications
- Hooking and instrumentation (e.g., Frida)
- ARM or related architecture assembly
- Mobile vulnerability research and exploit chaining
- SELinux, sandboxing, and kernel hardening familiarity
- Offensive tool development and mission support experience
- Ability to operate autonomously in a high-tempo environment
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a highly technical team
