Job Summary
Perform pre-anesthetic assessments, document evaluations, and administer medications for patients across OB, endoscopy, cath lab, and pain services. Manage airways, oversee emergence and recovery, and discharge patients from the post-anesthesia care area while responding to emergencies with advanced cardiac life support techniques. Collaborate with peers to solve issues, attend meetings, and maintain compliance with AANA and state/federal regulations. This PRN role offers flexible weekday scheduling with 8- or 10-hour shifts, no call requirements, and professional liability coverage by LifeLinc.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
- Successfully completed the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council on Certification or its predecessor's
- At least two years of independent experience
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- PALS certification
