Job Summary
Generate accurate forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and relevant factors to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels. Analyze forecast parameters in the planning system to assure optimal accuracy metrics and track KPIs related to shipment forecast accuracy, inventory, and LOGD. Manage discontinued items, collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth phase-outs, and identify opportunities impacting demand forecasts to create optimized responses. Participate in supply chain projects and lead their local implementation while maintaining a constant state of alertness. This role requires a university degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management, at least three years of experience in FMCG or electronics, and fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field
- At least 3 Years of progressive experience conducting forecast analysis and demand planning within Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or electronic industry
- Knowledge of analytical and forecast methodologies
- Knowledge and use of IBP demand planning system and SAP
- Solid analytical skills, especially MS Excel
- Ability to identify risk and opportunities through analysis
- Ability to participate in/manage projects
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
- Fluent English speaker – both written and spoken
