Job Summary
Prepare and cook meals for 15 clients, wash and sanitize dishes, and clean kitchen appliances, countertops, and storage areas. Maintain a clean and safe workplace by mopping floors, sweeping, dusting furniture, and sanitizing bathrooms, showers, and group rooms. Replenish paper goods, empty wastebaskets, and run the sweeper machine throughout the building while posting wet floor signs. Assist with disaster or emergency meal preparation and cleaning as needed. Make weekly grocery lists and store vegetables and groceries immediately upon arrival. This hourly position offers a starting rate of $17.50 to $18.50. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess valid identification, and pass a physical exam and criminal background check.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid ID, Passport, Social Security Card or work permit
- Ability to pass a physical exam (push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods)
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Physical condition sufficient to engage in frequent to continuous standing, walking, lifting, carrying objects, assisting with transfers, pushing pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, running
- Ability to clear a criminal background check with DOJ/FBI
- Speak, read and write in English or Spanish
