Job Summary
Ancillary Lab Tech positioned at The Center for Pain performing specimen collection (including urine collection), patient interaction to explain procedures and ensure comfort, accurate labeling and documentation of specimens, maintaining cleanliness and sterility of collection equipment, inventory management of supplies, and participation in quality control and regulatory compliance (HIPAA and laboratory safety). The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and basic computer proficiency, contributing to a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in basic computer skills (MS Office, electronic health records, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
