Job Summary
Conduct live newscasts on TV, connected television, and digital platforms while leading editorial discussions and decisions. Deliver accurate, timely stories across traditional and digital channels, balancing on-air performance with behind-the-scenes leadership. Manage multiple priorities as a proactive problem-solver, including live shooting, editing, and community interactions during field duties. Work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, for breaking news and severe weather emergencies. Requires 5-7 years of anchoring experience and Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Required Qualifications
- Television news anchoring - 5-7 years
- Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field or comparable television work experience
- Experience in live shooting and editing news
- Excellent on-air camera skills
- ability to work under pressure

- lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds
- Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community
