Anchor Reporter at WMUR in Manchester, NH. Reports to the Assistant News Director and contributes multimedia updates to mobile platforms throughout the day; requires strong journalistic integrity and the ability to develop compelling angles beyond surface details.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of anchor experience
  • 2+ years of reporting experience
  • Anchor that connects with viewers
  • Operate mobile transmission devices
  • Valid driver’s license and a clear driving record
  • Willing to work varied shifts including overnights and weekends
  • In-person attendance is required
  • Able to write and edit scripts
  • Mentor producers and reporters
  • Develop sources
  • Enterprise exclusive reporting
  • Plan and develop stories on day-of news or special projects
  • Coordinate with news managers and producers to develop stories with unique angles
