Job Summary
Anchor Point Youth Care Specialist (2nd Shift) provides direct supervision, structure, and mentoring to youth ages 10–17 in a trauma-informed residential setting, ensuring safety and supporting daily routines, academics, therapeutic groups, and life-skills activities. Responsibilities include de-escalation, documentation in required systems, assisting with intakes/discharges and family visitations, implementing behavioral management, supervising medication administration when nurse is unavailable, transporting youth to court/appointments, contributing to treatment planning, meals support, and active participation in treatment team meetings. Requires knowledge of adolescent development, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, strong teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to document accurately. Minimum education: high school diploma with 1 year of experience working with at-risk youth; Bachelor’s degree in a human service field preferred. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:15 PM; Location: Jacksonville, FL.
