Job Summary
Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure, unload baggage, cargo, wheelchairs, and strollers, and deliver mail and live animals to the aircraft. Operate ground support equipment including tow tractors, baggage tugs, and water/lavatory service trucks to load and unload cargo, service aircraft, and move luggage to claim areas. Inspect ramp areas for debris, report equipment malfunctions, and comply with all security requirements while lifting objects up to 70 pounds. Work various shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays in inclement weather. Candidates must hold a valid driver's license and possess strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to work in inclement weather
- Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Excellent Health & Safety awareness
- Must be able to lift heavy objects that could reach 70 pounds (32 kilograms)
- Must comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Previous ramp experience is a plus
