Job Summary
Develop and deliver Anatomy & Physiology I-IV courses using a body systems approach, integrating face-to-face lab and classroom instruction with online discussions and assignments. Prepare and regularly update course materials, including an approved Covista syllabus with terminal objectives, while utilizing appropriate technological options for accessibility. Model effective oral and written communication to engage students, set clear expectations for evaluations, and ensure exam content aligns with course objectives. Provide timely, fair feedback on grading and demonstrate consistency in instruction within a diverse, non-traditional environment. Commitment is on a course-by-course basis, with compensation ranging from $1,120 to $7,245 per assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- 18 graduate hours in the subject being taught for undergraduate teaching
- requisite subject matter expertise
- outstanding communication skills
- excellent motivational and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment
- ability to work in a collegial manner and facilitate the efforts of diverse groups
- compliance with all policies and standards
