Job Summary
Anatomical Specialist I to support MERI's Anatomical team in handling and processing cadaveric specimens, assisting with courses and lab operations. Responsibilities include receiving and documenting donated specimens, operating a C-arm for processing, drawing blood and ordering serology tests, lifting and transporting specimens, preparing tissue for courses, performing dissections under supervision, loading/unloading equipment, assisting with course setup and teardown, maintaining tissue quality, cleaning and restocking instrumentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (AATB). Also involved in off-site education support and ongoing handover of specimens for future use. No prior clinical experience required; high school diploma or equivalent and ability to perform physical duties are needed. Benefits included for full-time staff.
