Job Summary
Deliver high-quality diagnostic and consultative services across histology, cytology, and non-coronial autopsy while participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and frozen section services. Supervise and mentor registrars and junior staff, contributing to statewide service development and clinical excellence. Ensure compliance with ISO 15189, NATA, and NPAAC standards while engaging in teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives. This permanent full-time role in Townsville, QLD, offers a base salary of $210,332–$266,677 plus allowances and professional development leave. Required Qualifications
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA) or equivalent
- Specialist registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA
- Demonstrated expertise in Anatomical Pathology, including autopsy and frozen section work
