Job Summary
Anatomic/Clinical Pathologist needed for locum tenens coverage at a hospital-based pathology laboratory in Syracuse, NY. The clinician will provide day-shift coverage with no call, examining surgical pathology specimens and cytology cases, independently grossing specimens, and performing frozen section evaluations using a cryostat. Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and an active New York State license are mandatory. Case load includes ~13,000 surgical specimens and ~3,000 cytology specimens annually; support staff includes other pathologists, histotechnologists, a pathology assistant, and cytotechnologists. This assignment is onsite in Syracuse with no remote component.
