Anaplan Systems Architect

Own the end-to-end architecture, governance, and roadmap for the Anaplan platform across sales compensation, headcount planning, and forecasting modules. Serve as the senior escalation point for data integrity issues, leading root-cause investigations when Anaplan does not reconcile with source-of-truth systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, or Workday. Manage relationships with external Anaplan consultants and implementation partners, scoping statements of work and holding vendors accountable to timelines. Partner directly with Sales Finance, RevOps, and Accounting leadership to translate evolving commission plans and ASC 606 accruals into scalable model designs. Drive FP&A finance transformation by identifying opportunities to modernize planning and reporting processes, replacing manual workarounds with systematized automation. Lead process and controls improvements to catch data issues before payroll processing and month-end close. Build and mentor a team responsible for day-to-day model builds, integrations, and support while establishing platform governance standards for user access and security. Present strategic recommendations to finance leadership regarding trade-offs between build-vs-buy and technical debt.
