Analyzer Technician (Siemens/Yokogawa)

Job Summary
The Analyzer Technician is responsible for inspecting and repairing process analyzers and sample systems, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting various analytical instruments including Gas Chromatographs (GC) and Continuous Emissions Monitor Systems (CEMS). Candidates must have a strong background in maintaining petrochemical analytical equipment, have good communication and computer skills, and be able to consult with support services for analytical equipment issues. A collaborative team culture focused on safety is emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Instrumentation Technology/Analytical Instrumentation Technology AND 2 years’ experience OR a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the maintenance of petrochemical analytical equipment AND a high school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience with troubleshooting and repair of all types of analytical instrumentation equipment
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to consult with 3rd Party Support to resolve analytical equipment concerns, performance, or maintenance issues
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to work independently or within a group and collaborate with other departments supporting capital projects
Additional Requirements
- Must live within reasonable commuting distance as company assisted relocation is not available for this position
