Job Summary
Analytics Lead for Udemy's Japan Partnerships, focused on turning raw data into actionable insights to accelerate regional revenue growth. Develop, manage, and evolve KPIs and the reporting framework for the Udemy Japan team and partner ecosystem; build and maintain dashboards in Tableau and Databricks to track partner-sourced pipeline, revenue, deal registrations, and performance against targets. Conduct in-depth analysis of the Japan business, identify trends and opportunities, support partner-facing events (QBRs, conferences), and act as the analytics point of contact for Japan leadership and global partner operations. Requires regular collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, Marketing, Product, and Finance, with fluency in both Japanese and English and 5-7 years of analytics experience. Posting notes: compensation range $160k-$200k USD; hybrid in San Francisco, three days in office (Tue–Thu) with Mon/Fri flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese and English
- 5-7 years of experience in analytics or data science roles
- Expert-level SQL
- Experience with Databricks or similar cloud data warehouses
- Proficiency in Tableau and data visualization
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
- Experience supporting B2B SaaS, Partnerships, or GTM analytics is a plus
