Job Summary
Analytics Intern at thyssenkrupp TK’s Coil Processing Group assists in developing dashboards, analytics solutions, and automation initiatives; learns SAP data extraction from SAP BW, collaborates with stakeholders to define KPIs, and contributes to Power BI visualizations while working with IT/DevOps on APIs and performance optimization; participates in meetings, documentation, testing, and knowledge-sharing to support data-driven decision making and continuous improvement. The role emphasizes exposure to data visualization, Power Platform tools, APIs, and cross-functional collaboration within a manufacturing context. The intern reports to the V.P. of Operations and gains hands-on experience across data systems, analytics development, and governance.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited university
- Junior or Senior academic standing
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Understanding of MS Power Platform
- Strong communication, research and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365 suite; Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and Excel
- Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
