Job Summary
Analytics Engineer to design and own the data architecture and source-of-truth tables powering product and business decisions at Similarweb. Defines raw data transformations into clean, structured datasets, translates business concepts (Activation, Retention, Feature Adoption) into precise SQL definitions, and collaborates with Product, Growth, and Solutions teams to enable scalable data foundations for dashboards, growth funnels, and external data products. Requires expert SQL, a strong sense of data integrity, experience with SaaS metrics, and proficiency with BI tools (Looker, Tableau). The role emphasizes building usable data structures, maintaining data quality, and partnering with AI/ DaaS initiatives to support model development and product strategy. Degree in a quantitative field and 1+ years of relevant experience are required; option to work in-office in Tel Aviv with hybrid remote flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science or related quantitative field
- 1+ years of analytics/technical experience
- Expert SQL mastery
- Proficiency with BI tools (Looker, Tableau)
- Ability to translate business needs into technical data structures
- Experience with SaaS metrics (ARR, funnels, activation) and data-driven decision making
