Job Summary
Analytics Engineer on the Finance Team designs and implements data transformation workflows using dbt to create reusable, analysis-ready data assets; collaborates with stakeholders to translate analytics needs into technical specifications; builds scalable data models and pipelines; implements data quality checks; promotes software engineering best practices in analytics; and documents data transformations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Analytics Engineering or a similar role
- Strong SQL skills and ability to write maintainable queries
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake)
- Hands-on experience with dbt for building analytics workflows
- Knowledge of ETL tools (Airflow, Fivetran, etc.)
- Solid understanding of data modeling and data transformation techniques
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
