Analytics Engineer

Job Summary
Design merchant data foundations, build analytics from scratch, and own end-to-end pipelines while the underlying model evolves. Operate across data engineering, analytics engineering, and business intelligence to serve as a technical point of contact for stakeholders. Handle regular and evolving ad hoc requests, often from senior management with imperfect data, by turning high-level requirements into reliable, monitored Snowflake pipelines. Perform dimensional and semantic data modeling, tune performance, and integrate source systems while troubleshooting failures, latency, and data quality issues. Discover, evaluate, and onboard new datasets, managing connectors and ingestion methods to drive business efficiency in a fast-moving fintech environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business analytics, engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years designing data models and pipelines, and handling ad hoc analytics requests
- Advanced SQL and Python
- Strong Snowflake experience (ingestion, transformations, access patterns, governance basics) and can operate independently
- Proven ability to break ambiguous problems into structured, solvable components
- Strong analytical and systems-design skills
- High-ownership, proactive, and able to run multiple workstreams and follow through without constant direction
- Someone who digs into the why behind a request - a real problem-solver who delivers
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the selection process
- Applicants must have authorization to work in the country without the need for sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification
- Familiarity with geospatial data
- CI/CD pipeline development experience
- Experience in a fast-paced, technical, and contribution-oriented environment
