Job Summary
Analytics Engineer role focused on building scalable analytics across the organization. You will understand stakeholder data needs, define and manage data pipelines in dbt to transform raw logs into canonical datasets, establish data integrity standards and SLAs, develop dashboards to track core metrics, and create self-serve analytics tools. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and GTM teams, become an expert in the company’s data models and architecture, and lead projects to enable data-driven decision making. Requirements include 5+ years in analytics/data engineering, SQL and Python proficiency, experience with dbt, Airflow, GitHub, and building dashboards (Hex), with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and visa sponsorship is available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 5+ years of experience in Analytics Data Engineer or similar roles
- Expertise in SQL and Python
- Experience building data reporting and dashboards in visualization tools (Hex)
- Proficiency with dbt for multi-step ETL and data modeling
- Experience with workflow tools like Airflow and version control (GitHub)
- Experience building analytics functions at startups
- Ability to partner with GTM and Product leads to report on company-wide metrics
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Visa sponsorship available; location-based hybrid policy requiring in-office presence at least 25% of the time
