Job Summary
Analytics Consultant responsible for collaborating with business partners to translate data and business needs into research and actionable analytics. Duties include consulting on less complex research, applying statistical analysis to identify trends, developing customized reports and ad hoc analyses, designing and delivering engaging dashboards using BI tools (Power BI, dashboards, data visualizations), and partnering with technology teams to automate and optimize reporting. The role emphasizes understanding business requirements, delivering data-driven insights to improve revenue, efficiency, and compliance, and ensuring adherence to data governance and risk-management practices. Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, and Power Query, plus the ability to translate requirements into insights for stakeholders, are required. Posting includes responsibilities around data management, collaboration with cross-functional groups, and contributing to continuous improvement in reporting capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Analytics experience (or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education)
- Experience with Business Intelligence, reporting, or analytics
- Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Power Query
- Good to have experience with Power Apps and Tableau
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server) and data integration
- Ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights and present to stakeholders
- Ability to design, develop, and deliver complex reporting solutions and data-driven insights using BI tools
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytics solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills
- Knowledge of data governance and risk/compliance considerations
