Job Summary
Perform Commercial Line Monthly and Quarterly rollups to improve data validation, reconciliation, and reporting by collaborating with Account Modeling, Regional Portfolio, and Corporate CAT Risk Aggregation teams. Execute quarterly CAT risk aggregation, delivering insightful reporting to internal stakeholders while applying complex treaty structures to portfolio risks. Provide explanations of portfolio results, trending, model change impacts, and data quality limitations to stakeholders. Support ad-hoc reporting and handle requests from other lines of business. Coach team members and contribute ideas for exploration. Undertake new projects as available. Work in rotational shifts with minimal daily instruction, making decisions that impact your own work and others. Interact with peers, clients, and Accenture management to solve increasingly complex problems for the General Insurance team.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience
- Minimum 7 plus years of catastrophe modelling experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving approach
- Strong knowledge on various reinsurance
- Experience in using RMS applications
- Clear communicator, able to structure an argument and explain complex issues in a simple way
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office applications
- Effective time management skills
- Willingness to work on multiple projects with multiple stakeholders in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent SQL skills
- Thorough understanding of vendor model data structures
- Ability to work in rotational shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Risk Modeler experience
- Additional programming language (R/Python/VBA)
- GIS skills
