Job Summary
Service and maintain customer Analytical X-ray Equipment by troubleshooting electronic and mechanical problems, installing system software, and performing complete installations of generators, optics, and detection devices. Provide customer phone assistance for preliminary diagnostics and conduct training on system alignment and usage. Submit weekly reports, expense reports, and service documentation using the Rigaku database while maintaining customer profiles. Work in clean room environments with potential international travel to Rigaku factories in Japan. Associate degree in Electronics Engineering and valid driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent training minimum)
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Passport
- Ability to obtain security clearance to customers and governmental facilities required
- Must be able to meet minimum qualifications to apply
- Must be able to prove they can legally work in the US
- Ability to work in a clean room environment
- International travel to Rigaku's factories in Japan and other locations may be required to learn new techniques and service methods associated with Rigaku systems
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Service Experience would be highly desired
- Previous Thin Film and Metrology experience would be an asset
