Analytical Scientist

Job Summary
Develop new or optimize existing analytical release or characterization methods based on biological and biochemical techniques to support rAAV process development and product release. Conduct analytical experiments using CE or HPLC to deliver reliable data, manage critical samples, and prepare high-quality experimental reports. Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain GXP compliant documentation while writing internal technical reports and external presentations. Design experiments, organize data, and prepare presenting materials within a fast-paced biotech start-up environment. Interact with multi-disciplinary research teams and participate in lab meetings and administration work.
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge
- Familiar with variety of bio-separation lab techniques, including RP, SEC, IEX, HILIC, CE-SDS and cIEF with variety of detectors etc.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Self-motivated to learn and develop new techniques
- Capable of performing multiple tasks efficiently
- Keep accurate records
- Follow instructions
- Comply with company policies
- Good personal communication skills
- Team worker
- Comfortable in the fast-paced, biotech start-up environment
