Job Summary
Prepare samples, maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization, and manage document archiving in compliance with safety standards. Order, label, and monitor inventory levels for reagents and consumables while preventing shortages. Assist with pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes including media preparation, instrument maintenance, and routine testing such as KF, XRPD, and titration. Accurately record experimental data and adhere to GLP/GMP regulations and SOPs. Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, with the ability to work in both office and lab environments while wearing appropriate PPE. Salary range is $22.32 to $28.90.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and analytical instrumentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in both office and laboratory environments
- Exposure to chemicals and hazardous materials
- Must wear appropriate PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves)
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
