Analytical Development Scientist

Analytical Development Scientist participates in analytical development projects at the R&D unit in Caracas, designing, executing and supervising analytical studies, collecting and analyzing experimental data, and preparing technical reports. Responsibilities include reviewing available documentation, developing scientific work proposals, communicating and defending results in scientific environments, ensuring project timelines, and supporting process transfer to manufacturing. At the department level, contribute to organization and data-system upkeep, and participate in training and supervision of new staff and students. The role involves collaboration with internal I+D teams, project core teams, clients and external suppliers, reporting to the Analytical Development Manager. Requirements include a Chemistry background with a Master’s degree or PhD, strong English, analytical mindset, scientific thinking, results orientation, and excellent communication and teamwork skills; proactive and capable of handling projects with varying complexity.
