Job Summary
Document experimental data accurately per ALCOA principles and GMP requirements while performing HPLC, GC, dissolution, and physical testing. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including HPLC, GC, KF, FTIR, viscometer, particle size analyzer, and pH meters. Utilize Empower, LIMS, MS Word, and Excel for data management and reporting. Troubleshoot analytical system suitability issues, interpret results, and support OOS investigations. Maintain a safe laboratory environment and support rotating shift schedules. Requires Bachelor's degree in chemistry, 2–5 years of analytical testing experience, and awareness of pharmaceutical quality and regulatory requirements. Salary ranges from $28–$33 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Science in chemistry or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience performing analytical testing for prototype to commercial batches in support of development and/or manufacturing operations
- Hands-on experience operating and utilizing analytical laboratory equipment, including GC, HPLC, KF, KF-Coulometer, FTIR, viscometer, particle size analyzer, pH meter, and other basic laboratory instruments
- Awareness of quality and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as determination of test reliability, analysis of variance, and correlation techniques
- Ability to work rotating shifts and flexible schedules as required by operational needs
